We offer both telephone and face to face appointments. Our reception is open from 8:00am until 6:00pm, Monday to Friday.
If you have a non-urgent problem you can pre-book a routine appointment to see any of the GPs, or our Advanced Nurse Practitioner. Appointments are usually available within 1-2 weeks, sometimes a bit longer if you wish to see a specific GP.
If the GP has asked you to come back and see them in a number of weeks please make sure you book this in advance.
If you feel your problem cannot wait 1-2 weeks then we do have appointments available for on the day everyday Mon-Fri for the GPs and Advanced Nurse Practitioner. Monday mornings are always particularly busy. You can call at 8am any morning for an on the day appointment.
We always have some appointments for medical emergencies for issues that need to be dealt with urgently. The reception staff will ask you about your symptoms and may consult with a GP before offering you an emergency appointment.
We will not book a same day appointment without a reason to ensure the right people are being seen at the right time.
We will now no longer accept patients walking into the Surgery for same day appointments until after 9.30am unless it is an emergency.
