In the first instance you should contact the surgery in the event of a minor injury. We will always try our best to accommodate you, however, if we don’t have a nurse, or GP available to see you at the time, or we feel it is not an injury we can deal with, we may direct you to 111 where you can access the minor injuries service. We can help with:
- Wounds needing cleaned and dressed
- Removal of foreign bodies from ears, nose, eyes
- Head injury – not involving loss of consciousness
- Minor burns/scalds
- Minor trauma to hands, feet and limbs
- Tick bites
